had a weekend after a very long time. dont remember the last time. Saw 2 movies thru the weekend. ab tak chappan was just amazing. A typical RGV film - shoestring buget, no songs, good story line, no urmila .....yeah right no urmila for once. had enuf of her in bhoot and ek hasina thi. nana patekar showed again why he is still has a fan following which includes yours truly.
on saturday got absolutely bugged doing nothing till the evening. everybody was going to the OAT to watch cold mountain. lost all enthu the moment i came to know that the movie had 7 academy nominations. that cud put to anyone to sleep......reason for me not to watch the film, i just wanted to enjoy the holiday. finally went to rajesh's place and decided we'll go to nenunnanu. landed up at satyam just in time..........only to see the movie being screened was murder and not nenunnenenunu...(lost count of the n's). not much of an option at 10pm than sit thru the torture. i am still wondering why mallika sherawat does dumb adult movies. she is much more "capable".
just after the interval manrai sms's telling that we got to finish the sad report. i come back to the lab at 1am and see nitin and ajay working on the report. me , ajay and krishna go to dhaba and from there i come back and start working. after some time i am done with my stuff and i find that the dfd's have no link between them. also the e-r diagram has no relationships.
6 am and i am really tired. go to manrai's room and explain him the stuff to be done. then i go to the room , lock it from outside, put off the ringer and sleep. i get up at 12:30 to see a mesg from patti saying that we had to go and reserve our tickets. i take a chance and start from the campus at 1:15am. reach the counter just in time to hear him say "TIME 2:01....counter closes at 2:00" . patti manages to get his onward journey. me not so lucky. got to wait another day.we come back after eating at abhiruchi.
the evening was pleasant........a cool day ( very rare in chennai). me and patti go to the beach. spend some time. patti is ecstatic to find a single ladies sandal hitting his feet. he throws it to the shore. he is further more ecstatic to find another pair. runs around for about 500m and comes back and gives it to me saying its mine.(by now u must be thinking patti is my dog........sort of.......he is my friend) actually he has found another male chappal. not much he cud do but throw it back in the water..... frustated. shud have seen the look on his face when i told him that my slippers were in my hand.
finally we come back to the campus only to be stopped by the guard at the main gate. i say "visitor".......he says "you r wearing IIT T-shirt". then i tell patti is the visitor. he refuses to believe. he asks "why r u riding the bike". i said" if thats the prob patti will drive it". he gives the visitors pass knowing very well that both of us r students. patti kicks the bike once........twice.......thrice...it just wont start. after a lot of effort vimal starts the bike only to put it in the wrong gear....darn.....the bike wont move. all this in front of the gaurd to whom we had claimed that it was vimals bike. anyways the day was good fun. come back and think of studying marketing and it stays only at that .....THINK. went back to room and hit the sack. get up in the morning. got a good reason not to start the week by seeing GAK's face.....need to go to TCS for a briefing by the project leaders. land up at 9:15 with satya,nithya and rohin . we go into the training room and get heavy gyaan about tata and tcs from mr.anant( guy with a real sense of humor). as luck wud have it all the project leaders except mine arrive. so after listening to all that gyaan and wasting 2 hrs at cathedral road, i got to go to tidel park along with 3 guys from bim,trichy.
after landing up at tidel, i find out that these guys want to start work immediately which suits the lady fine. she says she wud take 2 guys from bim for the project. i am refered to another guy whom i will have to meet tmrw. i come back only to find out that i have a marketing mid term. i dont know how i manage to screw up all my marketing and systems exams. now its 9.43 in the night and i got to read for tmrw's MIS exam. looks like another systems exam royally f***** up.
so as things stand i dont get the project i want coz i can start only by mid may, i screwed up my marketing exam, got another exam tmrw, feeling really sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy................................

Back after a long time. Had gone to hyd in december. Came back in Jan. Pretending to be busy after that. Well, all well in life. Finished my third quarter.......almost done with my 4th. Time does fly fast. Feel like i have just finished my engg. and hanging out with my friends.Life has changed quite a bit now. Have got used to late nights and early morning........quite contrary to engg.
Coming to cricket. Finally india posted their first victory on pakistani soil only to get pitaofied in the second test. Awaiting for ganguly to take charge in the 3rd one.

Rashmi and Ritu screaming on the top of their voices.Patti sitting next to me and chatting away to glory(only until he gets a call from ....). All the others working except my group. They are busy doing better things.
