Getting really hectic nowadays. Towards the fag end of the project. Lots on my mind right now. Who will take up the backend work? Who is going to take care of the brochure once rohin and ritu leave? Got to get a backup team ready soon. Have i already started to sound like a manager. Well atleast my MBA is teaching me something.
Grounded for 4 days now. My bike has been locked at the department. I just dont see any logic behind banning the bikes. By tmrw if it doesn't get released i am reasonably sure of breaking the lock. Had enuf of it.
Reading this article makes be feel these guys dont know about Nithyanandini. She definitely can do better.

Another month has passed in IIT Madras, Chennai. Still no photograph of me in this wonderful forest campus. Looks like this is going to be my crib till i leave this place. Too lazy to jugaadofy one. Will surely miss the moments i have had here.
6th week starting for my project. Quite a bit learnt.........er well.......not much actually. Did some marketing collaterals for BETACO.Planning to build a DSS over the next week. will try to avoid going to TCS.Kinda getting boring. Anand will not be there as well.I have got used to his "No...i understand what u r saying...." stuff. Shahul getting inaccessible by the day. Only reason for me to go to his cubicle every 3 hrs is for watching the girl three rows in front of him. She is one of the very few good looking girls in TCS. The rest - the lesser said the better. God doesn't make them like he used to. Maybe he too is bored doing the same work, should try something new.
Placement work has gone really well over the past week. Really proud of myself that i have been able to keep up the commitment. The content has come out really well and just the design is left. Had really slogged my ass off, going to TCS in the mornings, coming back around 6 or so. Dinner by 8.30. A game of Black Hawk Down and i was ready to go on my placement shift for the next 4 hours or so. LSG. thats the only word that got the enthu in me to put in that kinda effort. This man was screwing up his personal life for this program. I felt i had to do my bit for the program as well. 5 yrs down the lane if IITM appears in any ranking i must feel proud to be a part of it during its growing years. I must thank rohin, ritu, pilla for all the backup they were giving me while i was in the office. If not for them probably the brochure wudn't have shaped up as well as it has.
In between all this project and placement work came JUNE 15th. Another birthday. This one was very special. It was the only birthday i was going to have in IIT. And thanx to all my friends who made it extra special arranging a party at gurunath (asking him to keep it open after 12 )and to all those innumerable SMS's and phone calls. Shishir( being shishir ) literally started dragging me from my chair sharp at 12, when LSG,me and ritu were giving some finishing touches to the brochure. Once at the spot, started the worst time of my life. My ass got kicked for its sorry existance. I really regretted the day i was born. Some CUSTARD kicked me so hard with his bloody shoes that i was not able to sleep for 3 days. In fact my bottom is aching even now.
This week started off on a bad note. Pulled a prank on soumya which, trust me, she did not like one bit. My partners in crime -Ritu and PJ. Not much of my fault but cud not help hear lots form srt. i wont go into the details. but one thing this incident taught me - Men are from Mars, Women are from venus. Incidentally, this was one of the books i got for my bday and cud not have got it at a better time. Boring it is but still trying to read it.
Talking of gifts, got some cool ones. A ganeshji on which i had my eye for a long time now, a key chain, a momento, a gult cd, a t shirt and lots more. The best of the lot was five point someone. for the first time felt like reading a book and i am planning to finish it tonight. wonderfully written book. it does bring back memories of my engg days and the time we spent on vijay's terrace.
